Influence First, Immunity Second

I just put together a short mashup video of my testimony today for WA SB 5984 alongside a tech ally framing AI companion regulation as a First Amendment issue.

I’m looking for help finding a guest who can speak with real authority on corporate perversion of the First Amendment—how “free speech” arguments get deployed to block basic public health and child-safety safeguards, and how corporate political spending has changed the terrain.

I’ve been reaching out to scholars and experts in this field, but haven’t had much luck landing someone yet. If you know an attorney, constitutional scholar, legal historian, or policy expert who has written or spoken on corporate speech, Citizens United, or the First Amendment as a liability shield, I’d be grateful for an introduction.
